According to Dr Grant Hollaway, DPI Senior Plant Pathologist ‘the potential for a rust outbreak in 2011 is the greatest it has been in more than 30 years’.

‘Wide spread summer rains have supported volunteer cereals (the green bridge) which will carry -over rust diseases that built up during 2010’.
